In-Year Scenarios Tips
Please use below as a guide only for the in-year scenarios.
This steps might not be the same if there are any extra items you want to include in the scenarios.
Addition to the existing asset / asset component -
In this scenario, please do not populate anything in the disposal section of the in-year tool and you need to click the 'Use Original' button and click 'OK' to get the ACC DEP and SPI auto calculated.
Partial Addition & Partial Disposal
In this scenario populate the addition value and use the calculator to calculate the disposal %age.
Once done, do not adjust the SPI manually instead use the' Override' button and then 'Use Target WDV' to calculate the correct WDV and SPI.
Full Addition & Full Disposal
In this scenario populate the new value and dispose 100% using the calculator.
Change the SPI to 0 or 1 (depending on the matrix) and check that there should be no Accumulated Depreciation before committing the treatment.
